My dad, Russell, Josh & Beau all built a giant sandbox for the kids. They LOVE it!! Dallas got tons of sand toys for his birthday which was perfect because they play in it almost everyday. Here are a couple cute pictures of them having fun...

BIRTHDAY BOY!!!

Dallas turned one last Saturday, the 3rd. For his birthday we had a little party on the 4th. I did a construction themed birthday party, which was so much fun. Everything was orange, yellow and black. My mom always made my birthday cake when I was little, and it was something I wanted to carry on, so I made Dallas' cake. I attempted to make a bulldozer. I think it turned out ok, but Russell said it looked like a race car. Dallas however LOVED the cake. He of course loved the black frosting. After the cakes we went straight to presents... he got spoiled. He loved all the toys and didn't want to open the next gift, and would cry when I took them away. I just cant believe he is already one. I cant imagine what life was like without him, he is so funny and has such a great personality. He doesn't go to the doctor for his one year check up until next week, so I will have to post the stats then. I didn't take a whole bunch of pictures at his party due to the fact that he was a crazy kid, it was windy and I was trying to film it at the same time, so I will post as many pictures as I have..

He only wanted to play with the ball all the way home.

Camping!!

These pictures are out of order... sorry. After camping, on the way home!
Mom! I LOVE dirt.

Memorial weekend was a BLAST for us. We left bright and early Saturday morning to Fruitland, Utah where my grandparents own property. As soon as we got there Dallas couldn't wait to get in the dirt he pretty much dove in. He loved driving the cars around and eating it, I must have pulled 15 rocks and twigs out of his mouth, but he is a boy and he loved it! The boys went fishing for a little bit Saturday and all day Sunday, and didn't catch a single thing. Thank goodness we took other food or we would have starved!! We did stay in a trailer so bed time was great for Dallas, nice and warm and off the ground!! I am so excited that Dallas loved camping, so we can go all summer! After cleaning up and getting things unpacked we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Rowley's for a BBQ. Dallas played on the tramp with the cousins and couldn't stop laughing, he thinks he is so funny. He also likes to show off to anyone watching, he is mastering his standing skills. I am not ready for this walking thing!! Is also started talking a lot more this weekend. He can say, Daddy (favorite word!) Momma, uh-oh and toys. They all sound so cute!
