I have been addicted to cake decorating shows lately so I made a cake for the superbowl. Since the cowboys didn't make it, we went with the Packers. My dad HATES the Steelers. It didn't turn out as cute as I was hoping but with it being the second 3D cake I have done, I don't think it is that bad. It sure did taste good! I used white cake for the bottom and chocolate cake for the football and covered it with chocolate molding instead of fondant. The other night for some random reason I gave Dallas a bath in my moms tub. It is deeper then a normal tub and as you can see, his little head barley reaches the top! He had a blast. Denver even came over to play!
Dallas being a little gamer. He loves stealing Russell's controller and he loves to wear the headphones. I am glad he doesnt like to watch him play!
I don't remember the exact date but one night Russell had picked up Dallas and there were a couple red bumps on the back of his neck. When I got home they had spread EVERYWHERE!! I knew right away they were hives. He was scratching them and looked so uncomfortable. We decided right away to take him to an instacare. Luckily the doctors office we go to is an instacare so we got to see a doctor in the same practice. The doctor gave him some meds to take for ten days which seemed to help in the mornings but then at night they would come right back. After they started to go away they left bruise looking marks. At first I thought it was a food allergy, either to peanuts or carnation instant breakfast but then digging a little into family I learned that there are about 4 or 5 of them allergic to penicillin. Dallas had been on amoxicillin that week for an ear infection. When I talked to my family about this they mentioned that it was normal for them to have the meds before the allergy actual shows up. I have not done the allergy testing yet, but I will.
